Delhi-based Dr. Ashwini Jain is an experienced Ophthalmologist specialising in anterior segment, topical phacoemulsification, cornea, glaucoma, medical retina, DCR, ICL, Lasik and lid surgeries. He can be met for consultation at the Jain Eye Hospital on GT Road in Shahdara, where he has been working since 1999. In addition, he is a Visiting Consultant at the Chaudhary Eye Centre (Daryaganj), and the Balkh Hospital in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. After completing his MBBS from MS Ramaiah Medical College in 1993, Dr. Jain obtained an MS in Ophthalmology from Rostov State Medical University in Russia. In addition he has a Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery (DOMS) from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Dr. Jain has also undergone specialised training in various aspects of Ophthalmology, including a fellowship at Aravind Eye Hospital (Madurai), covering the topics of lasers in diabetic retinopathy and medical retina. Dr. Ashwini Jain started out his medical career as Senior Resident at Venu Eye Institute in New Delhi. He then operated as Consultant Eye Surgeon at the Lok Kalyan Samiti, from September 1998 to November 1999. He has also served at Sitapur Eye Hospital. Dr. Ashwini Jain is a regular participant at all major national and international conferences, and is a member of a number of professional bodies. He has attended the events of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society, All India Ophthalmological Society, ESCRS (Barcelona and Amsterdam), AAO (Florida) and WOC (Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Tokyo)
