Dr.Soni was awarded with Gold Medal for best paper in All India Rhinology Conference and Award of Appreciation and Scroll of Honor by IMA. He was elected as the Chairperson in national as well as regional conferences of AOI & All India Rhinology Conferences. He worked as ENT specialist with Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He had served as governing body member of Delhi state of AOI from 2002 to 2004 and Hony. Secretary of Delhi state AOI 2005-2006. He was the Chairman of Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Otolaryngology & Head & Neck surgery from March 2012 to 2015. He contributed in a number of research works.
